Clear Vision - As recent as last year, UDOT was using traffic data from 2019 and it has repeatedly failed in projecting the growth in our area. As your Senator, I will ensure that UDOT is planning with a vision that extends beyond 2050 and, instead, focuses on the full build-out projections. This will result in ensuring that we prioritize projects that will actually meet the demand.

Connections & Improvements - We must connect Pony Express Parkway to the Vineyard connector and I-15 to create another East/West connection to serve Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs residents. This road will alleviate the congestion on Pioneer Crossing and other surrounding roads.

Additionally, we must improve Pioneer Crossing by adding one additional lane each way. This will have the least amount of impact to the surrounding properties and will also decrease East/West travel time.

Public Transit - Our plans for public transportation for the west side of Utah County must begin now. As your Senator, I will immediately begin working with UTA and UDOT in planning transit corridors to the West that will connect directly to Frontrunner in American Fork and Lehi and also the planned TRAX line in Lehi.
